SHAH ZAMAN (王世界)

Dr. SHAH ZAMAN (王世界), has been working as an associate researcher in the School of Tea and Coffee at Pu`er University since October, 2023.

20231010日起在普洱学院茶叶咖啡学院担任副研究员。

Dr. Zaman is conducting research and teaching on the quality, breeding, and cultivation of tea trees in China. In addition to working on multiple projects, he has over 20 researches, review, and technical publications published in international journals. He attended a number of seminars, workshops, and conferences in China and around the world.

研究和教学方向是茶树质量、育种和栽培方面。 参与多个项目,在国际期刊上发表了 20 多篇研究、评论和技术出版物。 他参加了中国和世界各地的许多研讨会、讲习班和会议。

He worked as a research fellow and was awarded a (A- Category) High level talent postdoctoral fellowship at the Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS), Jinan. He was also awarded a CSC (A-Category) Scholarship by the Chinese Government and graduated with Ph.D. from the School of Agriculture and Biology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China (SJTU) in March 2020, with an emphasis on Horticulture and research in Plant Physiology. He became a lecturer in the department of Horticulture in Agricultural College at Pakistan after completing his doctorate from China.

曾任山东省农业科学院(济南)研究员,并获(A类)高层次人才博士后。 获中国政府CSCA类)奖学金,并获博士学位。 2020 3 月在中国上海交通大学 (SJTU) 农业与生物学院获得博士学位,重点研究园艺和植物生理学。 从中国获得博士学位后,他成为巴基斯坦农学院园艺系的讲师。

Courses: Introduction to Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Tissue Culture, Environmental Horticulture, Introduction to Tea science, Tea cultivation, Tea breeding etc.

课程:园艺概论、植物生理学、组织培养、环境园艺、茶学概论、茶树栽培、茶树育种等。

Research Area: Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology.

研究领域:植物生理学与分子生物学。

Area of Specialization: Morphological, Physiological, Biochemical, Transcriptomics, and Proteomic analysis of horticultural Plants, including Tea and Coffee.

专业领域:园艺植物(包括茶和咖啡)的形态学、生理学、生物化学、转录组学和蛋白质组学分析。
